That 40-50 mph "burst" is awesome in a really fast car. A friend has a low 4 second (1/8th mile) "street" car that he races in a limited drag radial class. He gave me a ride in it last year, when he rolled into the throttle and the boost came up, it felt like he had launched the car from a stop. It hit so hard it was unbelievable.

If you like "burst" from 50mph+ and the Corvette Z06 impresses you, then there are about a half dozen EVs now that'll really know your socks off in comparison. Try it and then try it again and again, because it's a lot of fun.
