My car is registered in Florida but is in two names, me and my husband. Now if I want to sell that car do I have to have both signatures on the transfer of title?

Depends how the names are listed. See
https://www.flhsmv.gov/motor-vehicle...ns-and-titles/
where it says , in part,:
"In Florida, vehicles, mobile homes or vessels that are owned by two or more owners can have the ownership joined by either an “and” or “or”."

If titled as "or", you can sell it by yourself.

That is correct.

Thanks. Very weird, the registration renewal notice gives both names separated by a comma, not and or or, simply a comma.

Isn't your husband in agreement with the sale of the car? If so, you both simply sign the paperwork....

In that case the default is probably "and."

Visit the DMV and find out.

Registration is not the Title, two different things.

Who must sign the Title is based on the wording on the Title.

Unanswered question…. Car is a 1968 mustang fastback with a 460 hp, manual transmission of course.
Air freshener optional.
