We just bought some car mats from the FH group brand. Great fitting mats and they take foot torture very decently, my only gripe is they left kinda a funky rubbery odor in our Honda Fit and was just wondering if there is any way to go about it without spending too much money or effort into it, something to neutralize the odor, white vinegar? Febreeze? An ozone machine(that would probably be overkill), just let the car self-venitalte by having the windows down? All advice would be appreciated

Not much you can do but live with it out toss them.
If your in the South Park in the sun where the heat will get to your car it'll make it worse but it'll be shorter lived. But those are your only options
Me? I use baking soda for all odors! Pour it on dry or use a tub with water and tons of baking soda, I'd say.
Oh and change the baking soda once in awhile.
Good luck...you do not want to be breathing that.

I may be unusual, but I live the smell of new rubber floor mats in my cars. Of course, I also love the smell of new tires. When we leave Costco I always stop for a few seconds at the tire department to enjoy the aroma.
I will suggest since you don’t like it that you leave them out in the sun for several days, that will speed up the outgassing.

Ditto. I like the smell of new tires too. In fact the whole tire shop. I used to love the smell of gasoline but it doesn't smell like it used to. Must be all those additives.
