Wish they would bring back the Lincoln Mark series.

Mark IX on the Ford S650 platform. Offer a 5.0 Coyote or 3.0L TT longitudinally mounted. Give it the DCT from the GT500 and offer plenty of tech. Hell, offer it in convertible form as well.

You can offer a hybrid or pure EV version as well, but i'll take mine with the rumble of the 5.0.

Camaros are being axed this year, so I can't see Chevy going down the Chevelle path

I was referring specifically to the comeback Camaro when I mentioned 'design cues'. I tried really hard to like it, but never could. I do think the latest iteration looked the best.

I liked the comeback Challenger (and had a '13)... but they ruined that when they 'fixed' the interior in 2014 or 2015.

I do miss mine, when it came out, and even until now I just think it is a perfect looking car. I hated that it was so heavy though. Electric would be awesome acceleration though!

I absolutely loved that car. I still see two regularly. One is a little beat up but the other looks showroom new.

I wonder if the weight issues would be addressed if they built it in the VR4 configuration with AWD and 4WS. IIRC that complexity is what contributed to it's portly weight.

Build your own.

Here are a few examples, don't mind the price, as these are not DIY
https://hiconsumption.com/motors/bes...r-conversions/

kits (one of many)
https://electricgt.com/turn-any-clas...onversion-kit/

Neighbor guy has swapped / made EV kits from (3) wrecked Teslas

Takes about 6 months of free time, or about 100 hrs of concentrated effort.

My favorite of the (12) we made in 1976 was the Red MGB-GT (Hatchback). ~1968 IIRC.
