You could be right but I don't think so. I think most economic conservatives favor strong law enforcement, and will be calling for stiffer sentences for more violent crimes, but I don't see that many of them tying a need for more gun control in with worsening times. Imo.

With a full tank of gas, I can do a lot more damage than a fully loaded gun...
