chrysler is private, so they dont necessarily have to report anything and it doesnt necessarily have to be true.

but anyways, being private allows them to make moves without worrying about share prices or anything, such as cutting leasing or making quarterly profits(which can hurt long term growth). im sure they've also made changes to their union contracts, parts contracts, etc since they dont have to worry about public backlash on the matter
