The store in Sugar Land, TX solicits business from here in the Dallas area, so I happen to be holding one of their ink pens...I called the number, and the store in Sugar Land is still in business. All others are closed.

They just had a snippet about it on the news. The news team (11) visited the store who said it was open. But couldn't ans. questions about who they were now owned by and or who someone would be doing business with, should they purchase a vehicle. They said telephone calls had gone un-returned

Just to clarify for some who wouldn't know what this means, little elmer is talking about a "flooring" plan upgrade from their major finance source. "Flooring" is what pays the monthly fee to the mfg. for all the cars in stock. Dealers don't really own those cars, they just floor them and pay a fee every month for each one. That's why some dealers make really great "deals" near the end of each flooring cycle for the vehs they've had in stock the longest [cause they're tired of paying $$$ for them each month].

btw, read elsewhere Bill Heard is facing an emminent $50M court verdict somewhere for business practice violations and thus their closure was virtually assured. They just jumped the gun and got out of town a few days early, I heard.

Cheers
