I would like to say a new Z-06 Corvette, But it would suck in the snow around here in the winter. Hmmm I will keep thinking.

If money were no object, I'd do some more mods to my Porsche 993, which is my dream car. I just wish I got to drive it more often. It's the most reliable and low-maint. car I've ever owned.

Let us fantasize:
Given: Any car, any price daily driver

I would have a 1995 Buick Roadmaster Wagon with the following modifications:

Adjustable suspension including spring, preload, sway bar and damper rates.

Computer controlled (Gale Banks) turbo diesel

Automatic transmission with manual control override

Good stereo system

High quality cloth seats

Improved roll over protection (roll cage)

Complete rust proofing.

I would use this car as a medium to long (transcontinental) range cruiser whil3 my daily driver grocery getter would be a Subaru Outback.

Its not expensive or exotic, but its a car one could easily live with every day for the rest of their lives: A Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX. Not only is it quicker than snot, but has 4 doors, excellent brakes, superb handling (amongst the best in the world), semi-decent on gas, not too expensive to insure, its reliable, supremely tuneable, and will kick most other cars' (and trucks) butts on dry roads, and positively annihilate them in rain and snow, easily driveable year round.
