yup thats exactly what i was thinking, the duramax has had alot of problems, its good for GM to get rid of them. I wonder what type of diesel is going to be the replacement, that is if GM even exist in the states in the future.
GM doesn't own Mazda shares, Ford does; and they're only selling a portion of their interest. I believe under Japanese corporate law, Ford will still maintain a controlling interest, but I'm not 100% about that.
Daewoo makes the Chevy Cobalt also. It doesn't seem to be a very reliable car.
That's news to me. Daewoo made the old Pontiac Le Mans, they made the Suzuki Reno, Forenza and Verona and they still make the Chevrolet Aveo.
