When they make a vehicle that is environmentally-friendly, is large enough for any of my crew, (my husband is 6'8", my son is 6'4", and I'm 5'8", and that's just the ones in the house, not counting all the others in the family. How 'bout 6'0", 5'10", 6'10", etc. None of us are going to put up with being squeezed into a tin can, like sardines), AND is affordable, I'll consider buying. The only way we could use these smaller vehicles, is by strapping on a pair of them, as roller skates! Until then, I'll stick to my Dodge Durango, and my husband's full-size Dodge truck, thanks!

I hear you! But, that's okay, I don't much care for Al Gore, either! Sorry, ScrantonWilkesBarre, nothing personal on you. Frankly, I think very little of most of our politicians, whether they are Republican or Democrat, although there are some I dislike more than others. They leave a bad taste in my mouth. Gore is just one of many!

Hey now, can't we all buy carbon credits to offset our fuel use? If so, it really doesn't matter what we drive....

That's a great idea !!

Now since lately I've been doing a lot of work on line from home I havn't been using my car much. For those of you who are being non-green and using your car a lot you can compensate by sending your "green bucks" to me. With that I will be able to continue to stay home, You get to use your car as much as you want and feel good about it, And...my gas guzzler stays in the garage and we all benifit !!

PS. Rather than add to the polution problem with mailing me paper money (and tree cutting etc ) I'd be more than willing to set up an electronic funds transfer link from your account to mine. No fuss and very very green. Don't delay...send today

Well, since Gore consumes 20 times the amount of power as the average American, if you're going to copy his "conservation" methods, buy a Hummer!

Buy a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado convertible;
it's got the tall tail fins with bug-eye tail lights and 20 feet of sweet sheet metal.

well this is a good list to start with-

http://opiedog.spaces.live.com/blog/...C7A4!404.entry

generally hybrids do not make the lists of the most eco friendly vehicles because of their batteries. If I recall from one of your other threads, you mentioned you had a Ford Contour? That's basically a larger Escort, just keep that...
