I have this bad habit of eating while driving. I just had this thought, that if I were choking, while driving, I would be hosed!

Do you eat while driving?

I used to, back in my teens and twenties but not anymore. It's not so much that I think ill of the habit, I just rarely find I'm in a position to need to do it anymore.

Yep I do, never had a problem. My cousin though wrecked her custom truck while trying to eat a taco. I keep my eating while driving to less messy foods.

That reminded me of a friend who wrecked trying to reach for a chocolate chip cookie in a grocery bag in the backseat.

I've worked at jobs where I would starve to death if I didn't eat while driving.

Getting paid by the mile, "dashboard dining" is the only way to make better money...

Most of the time my wife and I don't eat while driving. The last time I did I ate a huge burrito from Taco Bell at night and didn't get any on me! I considered that an accomplishment.

Yes, my Wife is always stuffing me with something to eat, so that I dont fall asleep on long trips of an hour or more.
Be it bubble gum, or other junkfoods that will keep me 'munching' to keep my eyes on the road, and not be a danger to myself and others.

May the LORD Bless each of you.

I wish you well...

Jesse

I hear ya - it was "Dashboard Diner" or nothing. But like prerunner said, you have to be selective.

I was about 20 when one night after partying I was driving home, really sleepy, and eating a bag of cornnuts. A cop pulled me over for weaving between the lines. I explained to him that I was dropping the food all over the place, and he let me go home.
