Three weeks ago I had bought a cute small die cast replica of a Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country station wagon in Rite Aid. I posted that here and in fact the discussions turned to die cast replicas. Rite Aid also carried 2 door Pintos in different colors and they had a cool 68 Chevelle in beige
The lebaron wagon I bought was perfect--blue with woodgrain siding(unpretentious Mopar) and a cool hood ornament, even top luggage rack, opening front doors and hood.
I am trying to figure out what year this car is. It's basically a Volare/Aspen wagon in Chrysler dressing and those ran from 76-80 but I know they did carry this body past 80, in some cases all the way up to 89
I think the Lebaron was introduced in 78, does anyone know how long this wagon lasted for?
