First would be the Sonata. But I'm sure most of you have noticed I'm a bit biased towards Hyundais but it truly is a great car with a great warranty.
A close second would be the Malibu. I checked one out at the auto show and I was supremely impressed although I've yet to drive one. Really the only thing that would keep me from it is my loyalty to the Flying H. I would certainly buy a Malibu over a Camry or Accord.
Malibu!!! It's a beautiful car and one of GM's finest! All the reviewers love it and it is, by far, the best on your list!! Please avoid Hyundai based on my own personal experience.
while I wouldn't own one of the 3 for various reasons, we did just spend a few days in a new Malibu rental car. I was very pleased with how Chevy FINALLY got this one right. I'd put it in same level as the Camrys and Accords we've driven. So that model has jumped leaps and bounds over previous Malibus.
We have rented the Buick in the past; just wasn't our cup of tea. No time in a Sonata so can't spout on that one.
It's probably seen some of the best reviews a Chevy car has had in forever. To me that means something because most of the GM cars/trucks I've owned or driven in the last decade have been fine automobiles (not going to include bottom rung cars in that statement). Others may have trashed them about reliability but I've honestly not had much trouble with them to speak of. So if up until now the general concensus was that they were actually crap vehicles and this one is so much better then it REALLY must be a good car.
Plus, I think it's a very nice looking car.
