With us buying all our Electronics, appliances and clothing from China why would any one have a problem buying commuter appliances from China?
And by the way everyone crams into China's outlet stores (Walmarts et al) i doubt any one would really care if all of a sudden most of the cheaper cars were made in China.

It's not just Walmart selling Chinese made goods, try Macys, Belks, Target, Lowes, Home Depot. The local hardware store. The Auto Zone, NAPA. GM parts, FORD parts.
It's not really the stores fault but many everyday items are just not made here anymore. Brands that were once made here are now made in China.
I absolutely hate to buy Chinese but if you really need an item and they are the only country making it what are you to do.
If you really want to help our economy go here. USA Made Clothing Jeans and Shirts by All American Justin 6 Inch Work Boots - American Made in USA Work Boots - Free Shipping!

Everyone I know tells me that it is only a matter of time before most cars are made in China for half the cost. The consumers will love it but the manufacturing industry will hate it. Something seems strange about buying a car made in China.
If the car was inexpensive and well made but manufactured there, would you be against its purchase?
(What has stopped China from taking over auto manufacturing up to this point? Tariffs, distribution of parts, laws, consumer revolt, lack of ships to get the cars here,???
We already buy computers made in China (Taiwan). The quality of computers made in China is pretty good. I wouldn't mind if we buy cars there as well.
Economic theory says that the amount we export has no effect on the amount of jobs available in America. The theory behind it is a bit complicated. But if you look at general trends in employment it hasn't changed much despite changes in international trade.
Chinese quality could be no worse than the crap the Detroit 3 builds. China is NOT a good ally to the US. I won't buy A Chinese car, just as I won't buy a Detroit 3 car. I want value for my money.
Hell no. though people in China buy Chinese made Buicks, Audis, Benzes etc...
