All you guys think alike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First it was...well I'll just have to drive your car as a daily driver and you get the truck...which is an '08 by the way!
Then, he says...well, I just have to look closer at this DB9 that's sitting on the showroom floor
If you hear any explosions coming from the direction of Tx later on...you'll know what it is

Oh good grief! He's home...went and checked out his truck before he even walked through the door
Seems, the rub...rubbed straight through the finish. The black is the undercoat
Headed to Ford parts tomorrow to order him a new piece...this is going to one hell of an expensive Home Depot trip! We're thinking the air bag is underneath that part...so they'll have to do the install.
ps....He's "miffed" but hardly mad!!!!!

For future reference, Goof Off is the solvent xylene, with masking agents to cover the smell. Very hard on paint. It will simply dissolve it. Make sure you use gloves when working with it too. Xylene will dry out/dissolve the fat in your skin.

Took the truck down to the Ford dealership...they refer us to a guy who can re-coat over it....we go to his shop..yup no problem, takes about 5 hrs. Came home with plans to take the truck back when I can hitch a ride home. DH looks and he takes the whole panel off...LOL...I can go back tomorrow with just the panel and drop it off. No having to do with out the truck!
