Hey guys,

A few months ago I came to the board trying to get some feedback on a few different vehicles I was looking at buying used. The main vehicles I was looking into were the Nissan Xterra, Scion xB and maybe a couple Ford Explorers and Toyota Highlanders. You guys were so great and offered me so much feedback and good advice. I just wanted to say thanks to all of you on this board!

I ended up with a 2006 Scion xB that I found on Craigslist. This was a lucky situation, the guy who sold it to me worked for Toyota for many many years in the past and recently started flipping on his own. He had some really nice vehicles, including this xB. It had 129,000mi. on it when I bought it. I've had it over a month now.. it drives smooth and I've not yet ran into any major problems. I love driving it! It feels so good to be out of a lease and that mileage restriction.....the road is my oyster!

I had a 2005 xB for 3 years. It had a surprising amount of room in the back and I used it to move a lot of stuff from one place to another. On the down side, it never got close to the gas mileage advertised, was really under powered and it didn't have cruise control.
It did the job though, for the 3 years I had it, until I could afford to move up to more of a luxury SUV. I'm driving an Infiniti FX 45 now.

Yeah! I was surprised how much could get crammed into it. We went to a local auction and ended up getting way more than we thought could fit in the xB. We thought we would have to go get the huge full size gas guzzling SUV to fit it.

Not so. I got all in-the-box items - Shark vacuum, Shark steam mop, big microwave, stove range hood, 2large blankets and a few smaller random items all in the back seat including a backseat passenger! CRAZY!! LOL I was thoroughly impressed with the amount of space after that haul.

Coincidentally Brave Little Toaster is one of my all time favorite movies, haha. That's impressive it got you around Alaska, too. I'm excited and hopeful to take this thing on a long distance trip.

My Great Dane loved it too. She could stand up in the back and not hit the roof.
