that pic appears to be a purpose built tube frame buggy (albeit with a vestigial body), the taco is modified production and a serious rig.
Correct. But the point I was making if youre going to build a serious rock crawler with an insane RTI, a Tacoma is one of the worst bases to start with, which does go to show that the Tacoma in the build posted above is quite impressive indeed. But they should have spent their money elsewhere, IMO.
Now, building a Tacoma Pre-Runner/Baja would be worth the money.
