Please don't forget to re-align your headlights! Even if you're only putting larger rims raising your car's height a few inches,...please re-align those headlights. Even on low beam you'll be blinding oncoming traffic. Aliging headlights isn't hard. Follow the instructions in either your owner's manual or in a repair manual. It's not as accurate as going to a professional shop but it's good enough.

Not only that but if you've never changed out a headlamp bulb before, have someone who knows what their doing show you how.

I say this because some newbies start turning screws only to find the bulb retainer isn't coming loose, what they don't know is there's also screws in there for adjusting the bulbs.

i'd settle for people actually securing the headlight in the housing when they swap it. you always see cars heading down the road where it's pretty obvious the bulb is bobbing up and down in the housing. i can't imagine how anyone could tolerate driving a car with a headlight doing that.

Is it a coincident that the folks who have a headlight bobbing up and down also seem to be bobbing their head up and down to loud music ?

I think not !

And don't forget the DIY guy who installed high intensity fog lights now aimed right at your eyes. Does nothing to help see in the fog but they sure look pretty. I had foglights in one of my cars. If aligned properly they really helped in thick fog. HOWEVER!!!!! just cause you have fog lights doesn't mean you can drive at or above the posted speed limit.
