Now here's a man who knows what he's talking about. LS400, no question. The others are for grunts.

it looks like the one I posted above

Beautiful car, by the way. Lexus, easy. The rest don't matter. Not much needs to be said. The car speaks for itself.

lol... I am just kidding. I am actually a little upset with mine at the moment because either my power steering pump is going out, or the screen is clogged. Its a nearly 20 year old car though with 224K, so its time something happens to it.

I should have just said that the Infiniti is more my kind of car than the Lexus is.

It's a 20 year old vehicle, roll the dice. I'd go with the Lexus personally. My dad had a 1991 LS400 and sold it for $1,800 with 250k miles on the clock. Driver seat was worn, digital display on CD player didn't work, and the paint wasn't look too great, but everything else worked great.

Personally I like the looks of the LS400 best (although its similar to Mercedes' of that era). But the Q45 was a fast car in its day, had a lot of power (comparable American sedans of the era had 150-220 HP). The Q45 was also tuned for sportiness, like a BMW/Jaguar.

The later Mazda looks interesting, but the others don't appeal too much.

They are all pushing 20 years old, so its basically down to a personal condition of the car. LS400s had power steering issues and the Legend had headgasket woes. Still fine cars, but check them out well.

Not sure about the Euro models, but the US spec models had driver airbags. Acura starting in 1989 and Lexus when it debuted in 1990. Lexus added passenger airbag in 1993. I think the Acura added the passenger airbag in 1993 as well.

The LS 400 is heads and shoulders the best car here, it really changed the automotive world when it debuted and changed perceptions of luxury.

Still these are all 20 years old so have money to fix and keep them running.

The simultaneous introduction of the LS 400 & Q45 in 1989 really did a number on the Germans for years in this country; they were furious that those two cars were so exceptional yet substantially less expensive than their flagship sedans, and it took them years to reocver according to the numerous automobile enthusiast magazines in existence back then.

The early nineties was indded a phenomenal time for automobiles; when Nissan added 50 HP to the Maxima in 1992, it went from being a very good car after being remodeled in 1989 to being a terrific car.

Finally, there was the incomparable Acura NSX, another car which received nonstop raves from day one.

My favorite of these is the LS400. Still a great looking car. I have a childhood memory of someone on our street rolling up one day in the first LS400 I had seen in person, late in 1989. White exterior just like the one in the first photo in the thread, although I believe it had a dark grey interior. The owner had previously purchased a new Cadillac every 2-3 years, so it was quite a change to see.
