There are a select few people out there (me for one) who relish the opportunity when someone rides their back bumper. You see, when I can't see your headlights in my rearview, you are taking one heck of a gamble. I don't care what car I am driving, when I see that you are trying to bully me on the road, I tend to lock up my brakes so you will hit me. Tend is the wrong word. I look forward to locking my brakes up and watching you squeal your tires and get really scared trying everything in your power to not hit me. And it would serve you well to not hit me. I will make the most out of the opportunity and make sure I milk your insurance for so much money, that you will be deemed unisurable by every insurance company short of Safe Auto. And even better, if you are dumb enough to not have insurance, I will bankrupt you and your family.

So next time you are in such a hurry to get nowhere and want to play bully on the highway, just remember that I am not the only one who thinks like this. Have a nice day!!!

I don't tail gate, it is not safe.

But, you sir, are a menace to the highway and will get what is coming to you also. To purposely cause a wreck is irresponsible! And the hint of greed you allude to is reprehensible.

Frankly, you're worse than the tailgaters. Brake-checking is illegal too, and for good reason. And guess what, the other party's insurance company will probably figure out what you did it based on the available evidence and succeed in assigning enough of the fault to you to substantially reduce or even negate any payout you might have received.

A much better solution is a) if you're in the left lane, move over, or b) if you're not, GRUADUALLY slow down enough to prompt the tailgater to pass you. I hope you don't get yourself and/or your family killed trying to teach someone a lesson.

Tee hee, wanna end up dead or maimed? No? Then don't brake-check people.

I can't stand that we willingly issue drivers licenses to idiots in this country.

Sure I'll ride up your bumper. I'll be in KY next week with my old 3/4 ton Suburban with push bars. "Geeze I don't know officer, I changed lanes and this Dillweed locked up his brakes for no reason."

Actually; YES, the accident WOULD be legally your fault.
