At least one place has trouble with LIDAR and the courts automatically toss the ticket if you show up!

How about this: Don't speed. If you get caught take your lumps and pay your ticket.

How does not speeding show up on a drivers record? If you are worried about your record don't take the risk.

I got a lidar speeding ticket a while back. I was told that the fact I was caught on lidar made the case iron-clad. Still, I went to court and the state's attorney dropped the fine to $35. I was pretty happy with that. It was a lot less than I deserved.

If you just pay the ticket- it shows up on your record as a conviction
