Yeah, or make this Caprice my "daily driver" after I buy a TC and sell the Century I will soon be making my work car.

Thanks. Yeah it is nice for a 1991. Its actually turning 20 years old this month, because it was made in April of 1990. It belonged to a older couple and it has a few of those old folks battle scars. Also, I need to paint the passenger front mirror... its a replacement and its blue.

The hood looks bent in this pic, but its not... I had it popped open thinking about replacing the original radiator hoses dated 3/22/90.

rear pic I took back in February...

That's true. Nothing wrong with keeping both of them (Caprice & a Town Car).

I used to buy town cars for the livery business in N.Y.C. ....so i`m going to have to say the town car is a better ride and has more trunk space....think about it, all of the livery cars in the big cities that have the service are town cars...they are more dependable

Well, this may be news to you but they discontinued the Caprice in 1996. I am also in the livery business with a fleet of Town Cars but my personal choice is the B-Body.

Well then why compare numbers of whats currently running around cities? The Caprice is being phased out simply because it's been 14 years since the last one rolled out of a factory. Thats just common sense.

What vehicle is that year range for? The last body style for the Caprice went from '91 to '96 and the 2nd Gen. town car was from '90 to '97.

Its been great. Smooth ride, runs great, etc. Everything works save for the radio... the factory Bose system has gave up the ghost.

I like them both, but I have already bought a 91 Caprice. The main issues I have ran across the Town Cars of the same years were window issues (power windows not working), some oil burning on the 4.6L models and some HVAC woes. Also air suspension issues. If its not been converted, or replaced with new air springs/compressor, I was marking them off of the list.

On the Caprices I have checked out (91-94 range) I didnt really see any consistant trouble spots on these.

Still love the TCs though... (90-97). Dont like the 98+ models. Seemed to have lost their luxury to me. Grandmas best friend has a 99 Town Car.... its OK, but I prefer a nice 97.
