I bought new Dodge Grand Caravan (2015). Van has a gasoline odor. Dealer check it for leaks and found none. So dealer had van detail. Odor was still there. So I left van at dealer. The next day I returned to the dealer and this time they had sprayed the interior with something that only masked the odor. What should I do?
I hade the same problem.. Yesterday I went to my Dominican mechanic who has 35 years of experience. He did smoke pressure test no leaks were detected although the engine light indicated that I had a massive rear leakage. My Mechanic diagnosed the problem to be fule "valve" that has an electric switch that is supposed to close and open. He removed the switch tested it with voltmeter it was not working. After working on the switch "Valve"for a few minutes it started working we put it back in and I am now driving the car to see if the engine light and gas smell returns. I am hoping this was the problem. My car is a 2002 Nissan Sentra 1.8 engine
