Im seriously considering having this system installed on my 2006 LS2 Corvette by East Coast Supercharging Inc (ECS) . Power level shall be approx. 550 rwhp / 490 rwtq and very streetable. Ive listened to a few Paxtons on YouTube with the hood up, and they sound a little nosier than what i prefer ; thats not to say it wouldnt be ok in the cab with the hood closed. Im aware that the subject of noise, is a relative issue...but wouldnt mind some feedback from those whove heard a Paxton from inside. Thanks.

I have a close friend who took his 08 Vette to them for a Paxton and the job came out with all types of issues. He spends thousands and they never got it straightened it out so he took it to another place in Jackson NJ (noe sure who) and it is not perfect. BTW- bye car runs 10.6 at 145 mph and its a beast

This is the VERY FIRST complaint ive heard of regarding ECS out of probably 50 . Id be curious to hear of the issues...if you could find out from your Friend , before I take my car up there . Your car is a strong runner at 10.6 --- what is it and how streetable is it ? I will seldom go to the strip with it as its just to have some street fun with.

it idles and drives like a stocker.. Its an amazing car.. I don't remember the details but it was trans programming issues and incorrect air cleaner/intake setup causing drivability issues

gonna need a stronger clutch. At those speeds an automatic is a much better choice.

Ive heard the auto trans' sometimes have issues after a SuperCharger install , but havent heard anything on the manual 6 . Depends on HOW you apply the power as to whether a stronger clutch will be required ; the good thing is, the stock tires will act as somewhat of a safety relief valve under hard thrashing. Having a luxury sports car that has good street manners yet can turn low 11's is indeed awesome.

stock clutch should be OK for a bit. if/when it blows, you can always upgrade to the LS7 clutch.

Id go with a dual friction type of clutch ; not sure the LS7 clutch is that or not.
