Snow driving is a BLAST! Spent the day after Christmas playing on Mount Taylor in western New Mexico....

A friend & I (back in MN) use to have all kinds of fun out on the lakes. I had a '77 Catalina, him an 85ish Tempo. He always won the snow wars... driving around in reverse, he could send the snow anywhere he wanted it to go with the FWD.

I still enjoy driving in it, although now days I'll stick with my Grand Cherokees.

I miss driving in the snow and I drool when I read of a big snowstorm in some part of the country. I wish I were there to drive in it and shovel it.

Back in the 60's I used to drive to Lake City, Minnesota and, back then at times, you could drive out onto the frozen Mississippi River.

What fun! Getting my 59 Ford up to 60-70MPH on that river and spin and do circles on that snow and ice.

But one time, it wasn't so funny, as when my car came to a rest from doing a circle, I heard crack-crack-crack!

Not so sure I'd want to drive across the Mississippi River, LOL. I lost a 76 Monte Carlo on one of the lakes in Forest Lake, MN. That was scary enough!

I love driving in the snow when I don't have to seriously be somewhere. I love to slide around and do a few donuts. My car now is a rear-wheel drive, which really makes it fun.

...Yes you can.

Well, technically I suppose it's sliding, but it's essentially the same thing.
