The only problem with the car was everything about the drivetrain.
I remember those that's when GM had the great idea of taking a standard 350 olds block and turning them into diesels and they turned into nightmares for the owners
Since the supercharger is in the car, it's different. But before, it was really a big disappointment. I even went to the dealership and let them test drive because I did not want to believe, that this sports car takes so long to get to a certain speed while my GTI was already arriving in the next town. They said because the Mustang is so heavy, it takes so long.
I am not a car expert but I had a TT in Germany with only 180 hp and when we bought the Mustang I just thought there should be a big difference in power but I did not feel it. Since we have the supercharger and about 480 hp I finally get pressed back in the seat.
I agree with others that something is not right with your hubbys car if you want even more kick throw in a set of 4.10 gears that will throw you back in the seat when stop light racing
1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby Turbo (don't ask me why I bought another one)
1988 Plymouth Sundance Turbo
LOL
1987 Dodge Daytona, believed Lee Iacoca when he said that their cars were as good as the imports and to buy American. Needless to say, I will never buy another Chrysler product again.
I had a brand new 1984 3 speed automatic BWM 318. It was so underpowered. I use to have to turn off my air conditioner to climb up hills. The diagnostic lights were always on.

I had a semi rusted 1977 BMW 733i with a 4 on the foor in 2003 had it for 6 months but besides the power windows being broken it was pretty fast for such a large car and pretty reliable when it came to the mechanical side but one night while it was pouring rain I lost control of it and ended up in a ditch.
It's a tie between the Pinto and the Eagle Summit.
The Pinto, after I had the transmission fixed and the radiator replaced it was a decent ride for a while. It didn't even explode! You can't beat a two tone blue ten year old Pinto. Drive like the wind, park anywhere, because you really don't care if anyone hits it.
I bought the Summit "new"; it had been on the lot for 18 months so I got a good deal. Ha! I don't quite remember when the repair nightmare started, but it was falling apart (in chunks) at eight years old.
The one car that I would consider to be a true nightmare of a car would be a 1978 Fiat X-19. It's Fiat's sports car, 2-door targa top, with the engine in the back. I bought it in 1984, then sold it in 1985, I had too many problems with it, and it cost too much to fix and replace parts. I remember when I first bought it, a friend of mine joked with me about what Fiat stood for - Fix It Again Tony!
