I came across one of those. My buddy's neighbor had a 1986 Grand National. Busted trans and blown motor. Car was dusty in need of a resto but I offered 4k because it was all there. (About 10 years ago) Understand I would be dumping 25-30k in it. Guy wanted 50k because it's a collectors item. So yeah it's collectible but it's not 50k collectible especially in that shape. Those GNs just never got up there in the collector value. You can still pick one up for 6-15k depending on condition.
That car sat there and afaik it's still sitting there.
