I don't think there's anything to stop you from taking it, or to stop them from performing the oil change, but that seems to be the case for Toyota's in general these days...

Take it to the Lexus dealer and be treated like a King. After all, you drive a Lexus!

Ooooo...does that mean if I drive a Mercedes I can stare down my nose at the lesser nobility in their Lexus's?

I thought Lexus will pick up your car for you and leave you a loaner. I guess its a dealership specific thing.

since I've heard the Lexus haters claim it's just a Toyota with fake wood and a fancy L on it Gotta love that!
I pretty much agree with this statement. If one is willing to spend money on a vehicle, I don't see why you spend it on a higher end Camry.

Lexus/Acura/Infiniti have more luxury in them than Mercedes/BMW/Audi.

I didn't realize a Camry was an SUV......

The only Lexus that I'd call a high end Toyota is the ES300. Everything else like the IS, GS, LS, RX etc..are all great vehicles that can stand on their own.

If that's what you think, then you really need to go out for some test drives. I'd say in terms of "luxury":

1. Mercedes
2. Lexus
3. Audi
4. BMW
5. Acura
6. Infiniti

Just drive one... you'll see why many love 'em! I wasn't a fan until I drove one. NEVER will I drive anything else.
