I'm a long ways from 100,000 miles on my Ford 1997 Van. I only put about 3000 miles on it at year.
News, Some folks like to drive their cars right to the bitter end. Some of the hardest-core members of this elite group shared their stories on CNN's iReport.
you would think it wouldn't take 5 accidents for the genius with the Camaro to learn that doing things like going 100MPH and being distracted by taking photos of your dash cluster aren't exactly smart.

You're assuming he was driving. It's pretty easy to stage a shot like that using jack stands or on a dyno. Of course when I took a pic of me going 176 in my GTO, my friend snapped the pic from the backseat...oh to be young and stupid again. The preceeding statement occurred on a closed road with professional drivers.
Anyway, overall pretty impressive. The one I found most interesting was a 400k mile 2007 Yaris. That is some serious driving. It's also interesting to see how many domestic vehicles were on the list.
87 Camry, rebuilt head, ex-boneyard trans, otherwise original: 245K
92 Subie Legacy, original except for half-shafts up front: 230K
71 Impala, original except for rebuild of carb and new timing chain: 220K
82 Scirocco, engine & trans overhauled about 175K ago, still going strong, over 300K on the car that I know of
65 GMC half-ton, over 300K on rear axle and body, on it's 3rd engine and 4th transmission (Dad's old truck)

He says he races it too but I am pretty sure it is only the V6 as evidenced by the 110 mph speedometer.

LOL I saw that too at 100MPH the last thing he should be doing is taking out his cell phone to snap a pic of his odometer
yes, i know. my point is that staging (or actually going) 100 MPH just to look cool when you snap a pic of your speedo is... well..... douche-esque.
Mike
Very true...100 isn't even all that fast. However, on that Camaro given it's history and the appearance of the driver it is rather ballsy.
