ZR1 looks 1billion times better. Doesn't have to worry about the transmission blowing up. And gets spanked in the only thing Americans give a crap about, 1/4 mile.
Remember when Top Gear tested the GT-R. They loved it's performance and handling but it had no soul, no emotion,...nothing that connected with them emotionally. Jeremy drove the Corvette and while he was willing to admit it's faults, he still loved the car. He said it was more fun to drive and you could see that as he drove it around the track. Technology has made it possible to have cars practically drive themselves. Where's the fun in that?

I think you need to go back and check your sources mate.
Jezza loves the GT-R and after having the ZR1 on the track in Britain he said "I think it might've been a holiday fling"
When it comes down to the nitty gritty people who hate imports will def choose the ZR-1 and viceversa. I am super super sure both cars are superb and when the time comes to buy one it will be ultimately one's decision based on how YOU felt in the car, not a tv personality telling which one is better.
I'm all about NOT pushing a magical button that allows you access to all your engine's power. So no thanks 'M mode' and no thanks GTR.
