My must haves;

1) Power windows and door locks.
2) Air conditioning.
3) Cruise control.
4) Automatic headlights.
5) Bluetooth connectivity radio.

Automatic headlights are a big one for me. In my state the law says you must turn on the headlights when it is raining. I would estimate that 20% of the drivers do not know this and drive around in downpours without lights. I like the auto lights because I do not even have to think about it; the lights come on whenever it is dark enough to be raining.

Other than the basics. Sunroof or convertable.

Radio and heat is nice.

I'm highly aware I can get those features in much cheaper cars but they aren't Lexus quality and it's hard to go from that into something of subpar quality.

I actually could go into a GSF as the bf is a manger at a Lexus store so I'd get it at cost. But being in CO it doesn't really make sense with RWD and snow. (although now I have a Subaru I could drive in snow---runs to get numbers )

It has to look awesome. nice chrome , nice lines, stand out and look timeless. This is the first features I look for. I keep a car for years so it has to look good to begin with.

Just bought this. It is not new but looks new. It is a Red Line Turbo. Nice Sunday drive car.

Pretty car.

There use to be so many awesome roadsters competing for attention, now there are very few. I always forget about the Sky, but it was a great car.

Every time GM comes up with something great it seems like the first thing they do is discontinue it.

For me it depends on the car and role it has. But at the bare minimum, the options I want now are heated seats and a BT (or easily upgraded to BT) radio. And in the it'd be nice to have category, heated/COOLED seats, backup camera, and heated steering wheel. Most everything else is normal standard equipment on modern cars.

To be fair they didn’t discontinue the Sky, they discontinued Saturn. They also chopped Pontiac taking the Solstice down with it.

Lexus doesn’t make any of that stuff. They’re built by suppliers that make those features for everybody. I actually find Lexus a little behind the times in the features and interface department.

Stick with Lexus and you’re severely limiting your options.
