Don't fret: Lexus LFA not sold out, more allocated to U.S. — Autoblog

Quote:
As for selling out, Lexus officials have said that the number of interested parties has exceeded the total 500-unit run, but as always, interest is different than intent, and a few more slots for U.S. buyers still remain. Additionally, the original cap of 150 LFA's slated for Stateside consumption has increased by 21 units for a total of 171, although it's unclear where those additional LFAs are coming from.

Looks like they have sold more than 50.

looks like there are a few suckers out there ready to shell out $400K for a car that looks like a tricked out G37
the old saying a fool and his money are soon to part rings true in this case.

Except the people that are buying them are people who have managed to amass more money that you or I will ever see in our lifetime.

So they must be doing something right.

yeah if I were going to drop that amount of money on a super car the Lamborghini LP 670-4 SV is where I would spend 400+ grand it has the prestige the lexus just does not have at the super exotic level.
although I would tone the colour down to a nice metallic blue

You can't just offer money and buy the LFA. You have to be approved.

But in that price range, give me a Pagani, a Koenigsegg, or a Spyker.

I'd easily buy a Koenigsegg CCX-R Before the LF-A, the Pagani, I love, but it's just too flamboyant for me to ever feel like driving it.

I'd seriously consider the new Noble though.

...If I had the money... which I don't.

Of the 2, Id definitely pick the LF-A (if money wasnt an issue). Then of course Id drive the **** out of it for a few weeks, then trade it in for a F430 Scuderia. I cant see the joy of owning an "exotic" car from Toyota that looks as awful as it does, when I can cruise around in a Ferrari instead. No contest.

You could by a ZR1 and a house to live in for the price of that POS.
