gone to any auto shows? Heres's my history at the NY auto shows:

1975, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1982, 1984, 1989, 1994

if you aren't from NY, are there auto shows at your localities?

Sometimes I'll hit up the San Jose Auto Show. Cetainly the most enjoyable "auto show" was the GM Auto Show in Motion before they pulled the plug.

Yes, I go all the time. I also attend classic car auctions and even met Carroll Shelby at one. I shook his hand and he autographed my '65 glove-box door and a t-shirt for me.

No, but I would have loved to have went. I have seen photos from some of the older ones on their website, but would like to find some old video footage of them from the 70s-90s.

I use to go to all the VW ones within @500 miles of my area when I was into VW. Also went to some Low Rider ones and tuner cars as well.

I used to go to the London Motor Show during the 1970s, when it was held at Earls Court.

I went to the first one they held at the then new National Exhibition Centre near Birmingham which pretty much put me off anything involving a crowd ever since.

I go to smaller Motor Shows from time to time but nothing like the old ones.

The best auto shows are the ones that happen in random parking lots on a weekly basis around me.

However, I have attended the Philadelphia Auto Show for many years. It kind of sucks as it's not a concept show and most of the cars there are just the current models you can see on dealer lots. However, they do have some exotics and higher end cars that are rarer. The past few years I have actually attended the black tie gala that opens the show and that's generally a fun evening.
