(Convair?) XB-70 Valkyrie experimental bomber. Mach 3+ cruising. Two built and one survives at the AF museum in Ohio.

You're gonna have to find something far more obscure than the XB-70 to fool this crowd It was one of the coolest looking machines ever built.

While not a Mach 3 machine, I consider the B-1 to be one of the most gorgeous bombers in recent memory.

Ok, I'll give you that one. They had pretty much been decommissioned when I was in Flight School and the Phantom's days were numbered, the Hornet was just going into flight testing and qualification trials at the time. Everyone aimed at Tomcats back then.

A great-looking bomber with a stick for control! Had one at the weapons range this past Friday, always nice to see and hear them overhead.
