Seems to be a great plane. The worst and scariest accident was the Air France Flight 447, do you know what really happened? I read something like the plane suddenly stalled at cruise altitude in the mid of Atlantic Ocean at night mainly due to some unexpected mistakes by the pilot/s. Anyway, what do you think about A330?
You're taking your life into your own hands getting on an A330. If I were you I wouldn't even leave your house.

Oh come now. Flying on commercial airliners today is much safer than driving on the freeway in your local area.

2-5-2 is not okay! It is a safety hazard in case of emergency.

Got stats, or a cite, to back that up?

Five years later Sky Cana, an airline from the Dominican Republic, receives its first A330-300. Yesterday (Oct 26, 2022) the airplane landed on Dominican soil for the first time at the Puerto Plata airport. Due that it's not only the first A330-300 of Sky Cana but the first of any Dominican airline, there were many reporters and flying enthusiast at the airport waiting for the plane to arrive.

In the following video they show the outside and the inside of the A330-300.

Btw, Sky Cana is well on its way to become the largest charter airline in Latin America.

Most 777s these days have 3-4-3 unfortunately which makes the Airbus the superior ride in economy.

The A330 is an excellent plane, very comfortable.

Those engines are awfully close to the ground, sort of like the 737 Max.

In the still youtube vid pic above you can see part of the landing gear obscured by a slightly elevated mound between where the pic was taken and the aircraft. If that wasn't there, I think a higher ground clearance would be more apparent. The engine cowling shape on the 330 is not modified like the 737 NG or Max aircraft (which is flattened at the bottom), so I don't think ground clearance is as much of an issue with the 330 fam v the 737NG/Max fam.
