Does anyone know anything about this motel? It seems like it is cheap and not too far from downtown Baltimore. It is $65 a night and its walk in only. You cannot make reservations. I like the price the most but I dont feel like being in the worst area.

Can anyone fill me in on it
here is the address
3600 Pulaski Hwy, Baltimore, MD 21224

thank you
mark

You should be fine.
Take one of these with you:

Be sure to say hi to the hookers.

Honestly, I wouldn't stay there... There's a reason it's walk-in only...

Is it really that bad.

Do you happen to have any suggestions. I need to stay in baltimore from 9-06 till 9-10 and I really do not want to spend a lot of money $65 a night sounded really good.

My suggestion is suck it up, and stay down by the harbor.
I wasn't kidding about the hookers there. That's why it's walk in only. The neighborhood is the model of urban decay.
I just did a look on hotels.com, and for those dates, I was able to find a HoJo in Pikesville for $67.50 / night. Right on Rt 140, so it's decent access to the MTA bus line (M9 route) which will take you to the subway and straight into downtown.
Spend a little more ($76.00 / night) and stay at the Red Roof in Timonium, with light rail service downtown.

Probably wouldn't be too bad. I don't have a lot of experience back there (other than picking up an occasional fire truck from the shop down the street there, and I think the hotel we stayed at just before shipping out for basic was there... ahh, good times!)

The Motel 6 in Linthicum Heights is about 2 miles from BWI airport.
There's alot of motels/hotels on Nursery Road as you get closer to the airport.

That's a safe area and is right off the Baltimore Beltway. The Motel 6 is one exit away from 295 also called the Baltimore Washington Parkway. If you take 295 North it takes you right into Downtown Baltimore. About a 15 minute drive.

Shouldn't have a problem finding a place to eat.

A couple of nice restaurants are G&M right on the corner at 804 Hammonds Ferry Road and Nursery Rd. Also The Olive Grove 705 N. Hammonds Ferry Rd. just past the entrance to east bound 695.

Take Nursery Road further South towards the airport and there's a movie theater complex and fast food restaurants.

Enjoy your stay.
