Hi! I'm a recent college grad and I am back home in Baltimore. I live in the Lauraville area, and Im wondering how can I get downtown and not have to stress over parking? I grew up near the Reisterstown Road subway station so my parents would drop me off there and I would catch the train to Shot Tower/Marketplace and enjoy a day downtown. However, there is no metro this side of town :-( where can I park downtown? I would like to visit Harbor East.

Thanks in advance

There are plenty of places to parking that probably won't stress you out too bad. You'd just have to pay.

You can also take the No. 19 downtown then transfer to the Charm City Circulator Green Line, which will take you to harbor east.

But driving would be fastest.

I don't think parking is much of an issue at all in that area at all. You can park on the street - I think it's two hours - or in the garages. There's one at Whole Foods, and one right across the street. Actually, if you buy something at Whole Foods you get two hours free there.

Thanks guys! I'll check out the garages. Lots of people tried to scare me about parking downtown lol but I'll check it out. Thanks!

There are lots of free spots of you don't mind a short walk. Jonestown just north of little Italy for instance.
