I ran a quick errand in Harbor East around 10:45 this morning. When I attempted to get to a meeting in Federal Hill about 20mins later, traffic police were not allowing any cars to head southbound on Light Street from Baltimore to Key Highway! No explanation or signs of anything being off - even the requisite "utility" work on Light across from Harbor Court and near the Harborplace pavilion was gone.

Anybody know what was going on? I made a few more attempts then finally gave up and went to Canton and took the tunnel!

All these road closures/utility work = not good with summer on the horizon and the deluge of tourists on the way!

When will it end?!? Getting around the harbor is ROUGH!
