I think I should forget about moving to baltimore lol
The House on Kreil st. is Section 8 housing. I'll look at st agnes apartments or queen ridge. The ten hill apartments are close to catonsville but none available in september as of yet. I'll keep looking and maybe i'll find something. Thanks for your input. I will keep those zip codes in mind.

As a short-term possibility, maybe check the Diamond Ridge Apartments on 7414 Brixwoth Court in 21244. They are lovely new places, and hotpads.com quote a rate of $1005-1315 for a 2-bedroom unit. They had one available at $1060, and they also do 3 and 6 month leases. They would probably have more young professional residents.

So a friend mentioned that Halethorpe/Arbutus area is close to Catonsville and very safe and quiet to live in. Any thoughts? I looked at Colony Hill apartments but they have no apartments available.

Your friend knows better than I do. Both Halethorpe and Arbutus have a more working class image.

Good news! The address is also close to Violetville which has gotten "best neighborhood" votes from Baltimore magazine.

i looked at spotcrime.com and there was one burglary in early June several blocks away. No assaults nearby.

Well, I've added to my knowledge bank that Arbutus is a safe and relatively low cost option to live in. I had only driven by on Wilkins Avenue going to the St Agnes clinic.
