Love Locust Point, I may want to graduate to there form Fed Hill one day. Be responsible with your trash, and you shouldn't have a roach problem. Locust Point is the type of area where neighbors may get on you if you are sloppy with trash or your yard, so the roach problem there should be pretty decent.

Unfortunately LP is undergoing a lot of infrastructure work right now with new gas lines and a new bridge so it doesn't show as clean as usual, but generally an extremely clean neighborhood.

How is the cost of living in the City like Federal Hill and Canton compared to the County?
Owings Mills isn't bad, but you're not likely to find a decent townhouse within your budget. We're getting ready to list our townhouse for rent at about $1750 - which is very pretty much what you'll find in all developments here.

oduguy,

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. The cost of living in the county is obviously way cheaper. You "Pay to Play" meaning the closer you are to the nightlife, the more you are paying. The houses in Fed Hill are also very large compared to Canton so they are usually more.

Owings Mills is pretty far. I play Hockey at the Reisterstown SPorts Plex (you can google) and travel there from the city. It takes about 50 minutes and just feels FAR. It seems like a nice enough area. It has a mall, etc. I just feel like if you are going to move to the suburbs, Columbia or similar is a better option due to your work location. With Owings Mills, you will be a slave to 695.
