Can't believe all the kiddies and everything shutdown because of some rain.

Amazing how media panic can paralyze a population with unnecessary fear.

Is it your argument that meteorologists knew the rain-snow line would be just a wee bit west of Baltimore, but hushed up just to send us a-twitter?

It was a joke but could have been really bad if the temps were a bit cooler.

That storm was a disappointment.

It's the Weather Channel that started the silly idea of naming the winter storms. It ups the television ratings for the guys and gals who stand out in the howling wind.

It was the perfect storm in my book: a no-show.

Some of those meteorologists need to physically step outside. It was 48 degrees according to the NWS when I checked the weather early Tuesday evening, did they really think the ground would be cold enough or that it could freeze quickly enough to let a foot of snow drop and stick in Baltimore?

Just saying.

I think they were just being cautious given what happened in January 2011 when we got that snow storm and it took everyone 6 to 7 hours to get home from work.

It was still nice to have a day off of work in the middle of the week, even if was just for rain

I think the weather forecasters might be a little more accurate if they study tea leaves or sheep entrails.
