"hours each day?" Take a look at how many times I've posted and some of the others on here. Hardly hours. If you don't like it, leave is such a superior attitude. Let's not try to fix anything. Thats why the city lost half it's population in the last 25 years.

You are correct. I should have said: There's a reason it's inexpensive. Who in their right mind would pay alot to live here? Thanks for the correction.

People in this city have let their ignorance, stupidity, selfishness, provincialism and non-forward consciousness infect this town for far too long.

I don't know all those words, but I think I agree.

First, one post a day is even too much when all you do it complain.

Second, I almost actually agree with you. People should stay and fix things. However, what you're doing is not helping. Sitting on here complaining does nothing. Not to mention you tell people not to move here. How does that help? Hypocritical isn't it?

My point is you sound like you actually have a lot of knowledge about the city. How about using it to make a real difference instead of talking down on it and telling others not to move here. This city has so much potential. Most seem to agree since within an hour of me posting that last comment, I received about eight rep comments in my mail box.

I may have a little more tolerance than some people in urban environments. Every fourth day I work a 24 hour shift in some of the worst areas of DC running medical calls, fires, and anything else that comes up. So I'm used to seeing and dealing with the BS that comes along with rough cities. There's so many great things about this place that I can't get in DC though. Hopefully more and more people move here trying to make a difference. It's taking plenty of steps in the right direction. It won't happen overnight.

I realize that, but it's not like one can avoid "awful" towns/cities. In a state like CA, they are everywhere and in between some of the better cities. I've seen certain parts of Baltimore that are a splitting image of certain parts of Oakland. I'm just saying there are other cities that are just as bad as Baltimore...maybe even worse.

As a newbie to this town, I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing any of the negative aspects of the city. I mostly hang out in Highlandtown (Greek food, yum!).

At least try to get your facts right. At it's height, Baltimore was around 900 thousand. It is around 630 or so now and shows a trend to turn to actually gain population----That is not "half". Do the math.

You can't help yourself. It's almost pathological. (Oh and there's no apostrophe needed with its. It's not a contraction. You're right, accuracy matters)
