Baltimore may demolish part of Gilmor Homes, move residents from crime-riddled public housing - Baltimore Sun

The mayor was right when she said that she wasn't going to arrest our way out of this crime problem. She is going to tear down buildings instead.

I don't know what to think about tearing down Gilmore homes. there are plenty of houses/appartments near me in west Baltimore that are much older and in worst shape than Gilmore homes. This mayor is not making much sense to me any more. Where is the money coming from ? The working class of course. I don't believe it is going to have any effect on crime except maybe right in Gilmore homes. Sorry I don't get it.

*Agreed! This is nonsensical and a big waste of time She's hustling backwards like most black politicians in this city.
