With so many pizza places in the Inner Harbor/Fells Point/Canton area I figured I'd ask for
people's opinions to compile a "Top 5" list of the places whom make the best tasting pizza.

I think if you search the forum directory you'll find that there are already several threads on this topic...

I still like Johnny Rad's. I think it is better than BOP plus they offer things like buffalo mozz and some other toppings that you don't see as much. BOP always seems to be in a hurry, I've been there more than once and the bottom is almost never crispy. Haven't tried Iggie's yet.

One topic I haven't seen covered is "traditional" Italian-American (emphasis on the 'American' side),(e.g., Matthews, Gil's, Pizza John's, etc.,) pizza/pizza joints vs the more nuevo-wavo 'gourmet' types which originated with California Pizza Kitchen in the mid eighties( local reps include Iggie's, Joe Squared, Bagby's, et al.)
I do enjoy the different styles, but I'm more of a traditionalist. Just can't seem to get used to piles of roasted vegetables or macaroni or potatoes on a slab of kavli or pita bread. And pizza without cheese or gluten is just not pizza, rant, rant!

Definitely a lot of good pizza in that area. This would be my top five.

1. Matthews
2. Johnny Rads
3. Pasta Mista
4. Tutti Gusti
5. Pizza Graffiti

Honorable mention: Verde, Bartenders, BOP.

Also heard great things about Chazz, Isabella's and Bagby

Come-up north to Toss The Pizza, you won't regret it. If that's too far north for you, then try Two Boots Pizza, which is literally steps away from the Mount Royal light-rail stop.

Toss is from the original owners of Zella's in Hollins Market. They just took Zella's back over this week. Looking forward to trying it.
