***What time did the Power Plant close with their "roped off" cattle and monkey style behavior? 1 am??!! The block is fine!! One of the last red light districts in America. What needs to be duplicated, is a block type environment for live music, jazz, soul, good hip hop, nice bars, cultural outlets, bookstores and live entertainment venues Ever been to Austin, TX? What about some of that 6th Street flavor? Or south street flavor in Philly?
I agree that classy live music venues with soul music/soul food, jazz cafes, comedy clubs, spoken word, bookstores, coffee houses, art galleries, upscale lounges, and nice sports bars. I like the idea of a Taste of the Corridor/America type thing. Buffalo, Baltimore, Philly, Boston. NYC, and DC, maybe Chicago, New Orleans, LA or the whole Tex/Mex food, KC/Memphis bbq, Cincy chili favorite foods or what they known for the most with Baltimore standing out the most. I think that would give it some identity and I would want to make it for a 25-45 middle aged area to keep the riff raff out. When you got culture, food, comedy, and sports you cant go wrong.

I agree live music venues with soul food/soul music, jazz cafes, comedy clubs, art galleries, bookstores, upscale lounges and sports bars. I think live entertainment can revitalize any area if it is geared to an older crowd like 30-40 crowd. I like the whole Taste of the Corridor/America thing Buffalo, Philly, Chicago, NO, NYC,Boston, KC/Memphis bbq, and the whole LA/Tex Mex thing but let Baltimore seafood stand out the most. NO DANCE CLUBS MOSTLY LIVE ENTERTAINMENT WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A COUPLE OF SPORTS BARS THAT HAS HIP HOP NIGHT ONE A MONTH.

Tough to be a blue collar city when all the factories are in Chinexico.

Something needs to come in and replace that stuff.
