Baltimore isn't the only city that has these things you know, almost every other city I go to have the same food, same taste (chicken boxes, cheese steaks, etc) it's all the same. What people fail to realize, is that every major city in the US is basically repeats. There is no city with enough uniqueness that can't be compared to none, because in someway, somehow every city in this country has some type of similarity.

Partially agree, but it depends...

I've been large and small cities in the deep south (Alabama, Mississippi) asking for a cheesesteak, they looked at me like I was crazy!!! Chittlin', bacon/egg sandwiches over here son!!

Fried Chicken, Fish sandwiches seem to be a universal ghetto food item. Depending where you're from, you will get different species of fish sandwiches. Down south, they love to fry catfish (which I loathe).

Aw catfish ain't so bad, nothin like a good fried seafood po'boy.

On a road trip I once had hog backs and hominy grits in a 3 section plastic tray while proudly displaying my minority status. Nice folks, good food, heavy enough to coat the stomach for the next drinking adventure for sure

Catfish is ok, it depends on who is cooking it really. It's not a fish I prefer to eat. For me, salmon, red snapper, lake trout, rainbow trout and etc.. People consider these expensive kinds of fish, but I like them.

Man, Koreans have taken ghetto/soul (Seoul) food to a whole other level. All these foods my grandparents were raised on from the country; they've mastered and sold it back to Black people wholesale. Crazy!!

Bill's Place in Baltimore's SOWEBO neighborhood (near Union Station). I don't like going there because the food is expensive (it seems like a chicken box is almost $10.00).

However, I rarely go there anymore because I care about what I put into my body.
