Scary, if true.

Careful with that article. There are exaggerations there; the reporting citing and way it is written is meant to engage emotionally. Plus, Peter Herman has not worked for the Baltimore Sun in over 3 years - I know, he's one of my neighbors.

Yes, there are problems in Baltimore. Better to know the facts than hype.

Besides, you can find a lot of info on local sites like this one: The City That Reads

The article and its reports should surprise no-one. Black people in Baltimore routinely get away with murder. Black juries routinely refuse to convict black defendants despite overwhelming evidence that they are guilty of the crimes for which they are charged. Remember Pat Jessamy's comment, "I don't want to send another young black man to jail?" This idea is entrenched, and is not going away.
It is well known here that it is open season for the "knock-out game." SRB wants to stay in power. The power-base voting wise is mostly inner city blacks who are bussed to the polls and given some walking around money for voting as they were told. I lived here for too long, and am looking forward to the day I can leave.

Baltimore is no place for white senior citizens on a modest income.
It was at one time.
