Is it just me or has armed robberies gotten worse since last fall? We have had at least 5 ON Morgan campus since September. Crazy amount of robberies in Charles Village, Fed Hill, downtown, even Roland Park. I read that robberies have gone up 22%.

No surprise.. you have the perfect storm.. 1) School is back in session. Many students are new to the City and/or not familiar with their surroundings.. pockets full of their parents money for books, supplies etc walking around town. 2) BPD probably has cracked down on robberies in some part of town (harbor east, fells, or Inner Harbor) thus the criminals have now moved to a new territory; 3) Daylight Savings time.. more people are out at 6 pm through 8pm just coming home from work or class and ITS DARK.. that combined with #1 and #2 make for the perfect quagmire....
