Default Huh?

Perhaps. But could Baltimore support one?

What about Red Emma? Doesn't that come close?

I find it intersting that Politics & Prose, the new Busboy merger partner, has a Cafe machine for on-demand printing of facsimile Google books but there is none in Baltimore, supposedly a college town.

Oh, mercy. Supposed by whom? Baltimore a college town? Not even close. Never was, never will be, even though Hopkins is a magnificent university. A college town is a place like Chapel Hill, NC; Ann Arbor, MI; or Champaign, IL.

Red Emma's is cool! A lot of hipsters though, but their food and coffee is decent.

Bougie DCists, buppies/yuppies, and urbanites that frequent places like U Street and Shirlington.....LOL..Seriously the stores may be similiar but maybe he is referring to the "feel" which is based more on the people than the place.....
