I've just seen this new motto for Baltimore somewhere in the neighborhood called Waverly, I believe. Why would anyone want such an obvious motto?

C'mon with this looking stuff up. You should just make comments without any thought attached to them like many posters do on here.

I liked "the city that breeds" better.

Isnt there "Waverly" and then there is "Better Waverly"?Is there a difference or is it the same neighborhood? Baltimore is so balkanized.. You have neighborhoods then block clubs that exist within neighborhoods that jealously guard their sovereignty and proclaim their independence.. There was places like "Lucy Jones Block Club" and its president Ms Lucy Jones within some of the larger traditional neighborhoods and they don't want to nor have anything to do with the larger neighborhood that encompasses them for one reason or another.... Baltimore is a city of neighborhoods indeed if you tried to disband one of these block clubs or encourage them to join the larger one that encompasses them.. the UN would have to send in peacekeepers (cant send in BPD....LOL)
